Mr. Svoboda is a Senior Consultant with Long International and has over 25 years experience working for engineering and construction companies in the power plant, process, and mining industries. He has written and administered requests for quotations, contracts and purchase orders, and negotiated all commercial aspects of the contracts including terms and conditions, terms of payment, and delivery schedules. Mr. Svoboda is responsible for evaluating construction claims, assessing the performance of owners, engineers, and contractors, performing searches and developing narratives on issues from document databases, and performing reviews of change orders on numerous types of projects, both in the U.S. and internationally.

Long International, Inc.
Littleton, Colorado (April 2002 to Present)

As a Senior Consultant with Long International, Mr. Svoboda is responsible for evaluating construction claims and assessing the performance of owners, engineers, and contractors on numerous types of projects, both in the U.S. and internationally.

Stone & Webster, Inc.
Greenwood Village, Colorado (May 2001 to March 2002)

As a Purchasing Agent for Stone & Webster, Mr. Svoboda wrote and administered requests for quotations, contracts and purchase orders and negotiated all commercial aspects of the contracts including terms and conditions, terms of payment and delivery schedules for a 150 MW and 300 MW generating station in Nevada and Washington, respectively. He developed detailed cost reports for equipment machinery including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and piping. He also prepared monthly cost and schedule progress reports.

Bechtel Mining and Metals
Englewood, Colorado (September 1994 to April 2001)

As Contracts/Purchasing Agent for Bechtel Mining and Metals, Mr. Svoboda's responsibilities included writing and administering requests for quotations, contracts and purchase orders. He was responsible for negotiating all commercial aspects of the contracts including terms and conditions, terms of payment and delivery schedules of mechanical equipment, machinery, electrical, instrumentation and piping. He served as Project Procurement Manager and Expediter for gold and copper mining projects in Chile, Peru and Arizona, and for an aluminum project in Louisiana.

PACE Membership Warehouse, Inc.
Englewood, Colorado (February 1988 to April 1994)

As a Senior Buyer of capital equipment, Mr. Svoboda's was responsible for writing and administering requests for quotations and purchase orders for new and existing warehouses utilizing J. D. Edwards software. Additional responsibilities included negotiating commercial aspects of the contracts including terms and conditions, terms of payment, and schedule of deliveries.

G & A Products
Broomfield, Colorado (January 1986 to February 1988)

As a Statistical Process Control/Quality Assurance Manager, Mr. Svoboda performed in-process, final inspections and statistical process control of machined parts for G & A Products. Additional responsibilities included instructing CNC lathe operators on inspections and statistical process control.

Stearns Catalytic Corporation
Denver, Colorado. (August 1981 to January 1986)

As a Buyer/Order Administrator of mechanical equipment and machinery, Mr. Svoboda was responsible for writing and administering requests for quotations, purchase orders and negotiating commercial contracts including negotiating terms and conditions, terms of payment, and preparation of delivery schedules. Representative projects included Exxon's LaBarge Gas Plant Project in Wyoming, oil well drilling on Alaska's North Slope for ARCO, the JACADS Project facility on the Johnstone Atoll for the U.S. Government, and the Unocal Oil Shale Project retort in western Colorado.

AGS Machine Company
Golden, Colorado. (October 1978 to August 1981)

As one-third owner of a custom automatic screw machine shop, Mr. Svoboda was responsible for all accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, job costing and estimating. His responsibilities also included quality control, purchasing of raw materials and subcontracts, as well as shipping, receiving and scheduling.

Denver Precision Products
Broomfield, Colorado. (February 1976 to October 1978)

As Office Manager for Denver Precision Products, Mr. Svoboda performed all accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, job costing and estimating using an IBM 5120 computer. Responsibilities also included quality control, purchasing of raw materials and subcontracts.
