As chief executive officer at Long International, Mr. Bachowski is responsible for leading day-to-day operations and overseeing consulting services, while driving strategic initiatives in coordination with the executive team.
Prior to joining Long International, Mr. Bachowski held engineering and construction managerial roles with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), overseeing highly complex federal domestic and international projects and strategic programs. Mr. Bachowski managed and coordinated independent project reviews for over US$2.7 billion in DOE Office of Science major capital asset projects. Through his innovative problem solving, Mr. Bachowski led cost savings of up to US$108 million annually. He has demonstrated success in directing large, interdisciplinary teams, optimizing project management processes, and driving policy changes to enhance efficiency and performance.
Mr. Bachowski is also proficient in the use of Primavera P6 for evaluating contractor performance, developing and evaluating Time Impact Analyses, and performing forensic schedule analyses for delay claims. He has analyzed construction claims and negotiated settlements and has specialized experience with Eichleay analysis, differing site conditions, concurrent delay analysis, acceleration claims, and defective design claims.
