On behalf of a piping manufacturer, analyzed the fabrication of piping components as an element of the fabrication and erection of HRSGs including the identification of aspects of the delay resulting from the actions of the various parties included in the project. Prepared an expert report, which led to settlement of the matter.

An EPC contractor designed and supplied two 300 MW Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) boilers to replace oil and gas-fired boilers, as well as boiler islands on two units. Engaged to prepare a schedule delay analysis related to a claim filed for an equitable adjustment of the contract price on behalf of the EPC contractor against the owner. The project team later made a presentation for mediation to the owner on the EPC contractor’s behalf.

Assisted an owner in the defense of a $12 million claim on a project involving the design, delivery and construction of a new cement production line from ore receiving to finish mill and product loadout. The EPC contractor claimed increased costs due to alleged owner-caused delays and disruption arising from late delivery of proprietary design information, materials, and equipment; and impacts to labor productivity due to numerous changes to the work and contractor’s alleged acceleration to overcome delays.

Prepared monthly progress reports and schedule updates for the preliminary engineering and final civil design of the $600 million Central Florida Light Rail Transit System in Orlando. Developed detailed civil design, construction and system-wide interface schedules.

Prepared a contractor’s baseline and update schedules on the $100 million Palm Beach International Airport Interchange. Preparation of contractor’s claim against owner due to unforeseen conditions, owner delays, and productivity issues.

Analyzed a delay and disruption claim on the engineering and construction of a causeway project in Tampa.
