On behalf of a mechanical contractor, prepared a $1 million claim involving the installation of new low NOx and boiler reheater facilities on a power plant project.

On behalf of an owner, provided schedule delay analysis, cost analysis, and litigation support of a $400 million blast furnace and coke oven battery project involving analysis of construction cost and schedule overruns and the adequacy of the engineering design.

Prepared an owner/operator’s claim against a major railroad for causing delays and cost overruns during the construction of fiber optic communications systems along the railroad’s right-of-ways. Developed schedule delay analysis of each of the right-of-ways along which the fiber optic cable was installed in trenches. Identified detailed daily documentation that identified railroad interference or lack of support for the installation of the work.

Provided claims analysis and cost and schedule analyses. Prepared a rebuttal report regarding insurance claims related to defective flue gas desulfurization systems on four coal-fired power plant projects.

On behalf of an insurer, evaluated property damage claims associated with flood-damaged industrial buildings and manufacturing facilities following a flood. Prepared comparative cost estimates for the damaged equipment and facilities to test the reasonableness of the damage claims alleged by the owner.
