Assisted an EPC contractor with a $10 million claim against an owner for increased costs associated with increased scope of work, project delays and disruption, and loss of labor productivity arising from subsequent acceleration on the design, delivery and construction of an additional line for the production of polyester chips for use in plastic soda bottle manufacturing.

Prepared entitlement and damage analyses for a hydroelectric pumped storage facility. Performed financial analyses and wrote expert reports.

Assessed the delays a contractor experienced on a project. Provided delay analyses and opinions regarding owner-furnished engineering drawings and materials that the contractor identified that caused impacts to its ability to deliver the project on time and on budget. The assessment identified which delays were attributable to the owner’s actions or inactions and quantified the number of days for which the contractor was entitled to an extension of time.

Reviewed an owner’s contract for the engineering, procurement, and construction of a chemical plant. Recommended changes to project management, scheduling, and project controls provisions to improve the owner’s visibility into the progress reporting on the project. Provided a Claims Prevention Seminar.
