On behalf of a purchaser of LNG from an LNG production facility, evaluated potential causes of an explosion and fire that delayed LNG production and loading of LNG to tankers.

A hospital facility was badly damaged during a major hurricane. Provided full insurance claim review services. Worked with claim adjusters to assess and review actual damage and required construction repair services. This involved a full construction assessment of building, services, and medical equipment damages including time/costs and rectification budget for repair and/or total replacement of facility.

Analyzed a contractor’s $22 million delay and disruption claim against the owner of a 3x1 combined cycle power plant in Baytown. The scope of the work included a detailed CPM schedule analysis to determine delay and acceleration responsibility.

Analyzed a contractor’s $8 million delay and disruption claim against the owner of a 4x2 combined cycle power plant in Fairfield. The scope of the work included a detailed CPM schedule analysis to determine delay and acceleration responsibility.

Defended an oil and gas producer against an $8 million claim from an EPC contractor and shipyard for additional costs alleged to have arisen as a result of a significant increase in scope and project delay. Analysis revealed that defendant had failed to properly consider nearly $8 million in paid extra work. Claim was settled in mediation.
